mummy’s sick and was admitted into the hospital for a week.

I had my 3D nail extensions done at Junying’s place this afternoon. It looks really pretty in real life.
http://thistlebellenail.blogspot.com/
She took pictures of the nails on the process for tutorials on her web, do check it out! we chated throughout the whole session and found out we actually have common friend and share some common interests! She set up a home based nail work place at her apartment and is well equipped. Definitely worth the try, and i would say this is my best manicure session i had! Time just passes and i realised i’ve stayed at her place for a good 7 hours!
After that i headed down to Illuma to meet my poly cliques for a fun felt dinner. We simply stuff food into our mouth and played number games to forfeit each other to finish up the 3 tier food platter!
Its like 2.35 am now! i need my pillows and my blanket! Another meet up with my secondary sch friends tonight!
Good morning!

Durians & Ba Kut Teh!
Last saturday, Jasmin called for dinner at Belastier.

The shop is filled with local and oversea celebrities’ photos of whom had visited the eatery.

Who couldn’t stop doing the thumbs up pose, it just came up naturally!
It was definitely the best i’ve eaten so far, and the best thing is that the soup is fillable as of how many times you like. Usually those refilled ones will not taste as good instead turns out peppery, but not for them. However, the pig trotter is not as good as expected. The one at clarke quay is better though.

After dinner, we took a slow walk along the stretch of food stalls and stopped by the durian stalls.
The durians look sellable and was quite a crowd thus we decided to give it a good try.

Look at them, another thumbs up! haha

Yummylicious durians!

They are great, but i think it is not the durian season thus not wonderful. Or rather we were looking for bitter ones but they uncle got us the sweetest one instead. haha its ok, still not a bad try though slightly expensive. It costs like 15 bucks on average for one durian. We only had space for two durians anyhow. hahah!

Played with jasmin’s DS outside the movie theatre to kill time and chew the fat!

hair bun, accessorize with a flora bow which Peien got for me. Lovely!

And such coincidence to bump into Raffizah! hadn’t seen her for ages. happy

More dinner at balestier the next time !
…
An update on carol’s 20th birthday celebration.

Searching for her place secretly!

We placed the presents in from of her gate and shouted ‘POSTMAN’!
Her first peep

Then a totally shocked face! LOL

Open present !

Dressing her up and did some eye makeup.

Now, ready for Partner shots!

A candid shot. haha!

Then the proper one.

We sang her a birthday song with love!

Pretty carol!

Next, we headed town for dinner. Initial plan was to dine in a HK cafe at ECP, but it was too far so we scrapped off that idea. Roamed around Paragon and then decided to settle down in Thai Express!

Next destination, Oosh! at Dempsy Hill

There’s intensive lighting infront of the structure, and that gave us an overexposed faces that looks rather ghostly and plastic! haa

They have very cutre name for their toilets! ‘Moosh’ for gents and ‘Woosh’ for ladies.

After that, the birthdaygirl went clubbing with her polymate! haha the massive clubbers!
We were too tired thus went home instead.

“Imagine yourself as a ‘Big boned and FAT’ ballet dancer and your Ballet master screams at you – “You are fat! I have never seen a fat swan before! This is impossible! The show is just going to be really funny and that’s not what I want. Imagine lifting a hippo! Though you can surely move, Darling!! Pointe work is amazing!!” – based on what you learnt today regarding Maslow’s and XY management theories, how would you address and broach this confrontation which would lead to you still wearing the main TIARA on stage?”
Above is my RJ question for today. Interesting? Yes that’s Arts Management.
I’m cracking my brain now on how to write about that.
Urghh. betw, that’s like the longest RJ i’ve ever had.

I miss this donkey quite alot lately..
Busy days are on and off. We didn’t had much time for each other either.
Still, you are not forgotten ok!
People ask, ‘what exactly is betw best friends’?
Just one word, trust.
I always believe in any kind of relationship, not solely friendship even with our love ones trust is the main ingredient that make possible story last a lifetime. Sometimes its hard to balance friendship and love life but i truely think this sweetie here did just good. I see trust betw us since the day we’ve met during elementary, this is what put us stong no matter how things change around us.
Sometimes i would say fate. No one can explain how that works but i’m sure anyone who has encountered that will truely believe it does exist. A trusted feeling is manipulative, we have a choice to believe a person or not. But fate is a limit. We can’t take control of it but only accept it.
Well, as for the friendship between both of us it is both fate and trust.
We all know communication is a way to know someone better, but just betw both of us it may not be so.
I call it ‘clicks even without much say’. haha!
Yeah, its not international friendship day nor any special anniversary but I just have this urge to say how i truely feel about this girl. I think she is god’s gift. A big present i can ever receive, always understanding and sensitive to other’s feelings. Thankyou so so much for being part of my life & i truely cherish this sweet sweet girl of mine! This post is dedicated to you!
My best companion,
my best playdate,
my best listener,
my best friend.

My dearest team mates!
Just a week ago, a total of 4 FYP teams had participated in a competition organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs which we did the school proud by bringing back a Silver award, a Bronze Award and 2 Merit awards respectively from each team. Our advisor had signed us up for the competition based on our FYP reports and findings upon completion. Apparantly we had another round of FYP presentation to the VIPs and Judges that day.
Some pictures for pleasure.

Hiphip- Hurray!
…
I had an irritating team mate today, who can smoke his way through the whole lesson. The whole team literally anti him. He is such an irritant! gain credits and don’t wanna do work. Talk big and made us confuse with the work. Wasted the team’s time and made us rush through our meals like dogs. urghhh. Kinda bad mood in the day but since it’s Wednesday, the last day of sch for the week, I will not dwell in the unhappiness. But i’ve to say, this is the first time i’m evaluating a team mate with disagrees and neutral. haa! the feeling kinda shiok though.
I hope he don’t come for lessons the next few weeks just enough time to change team!

I had Arts Management today for my first day of sch. I’m busy compiling the slides, but Shilesse simply play with my camera phone as usual. The class is with a good mix of year 2 and 3 peeps, from 3 different courses, all in 2 words- ‘rojak class’. Lesson is kinda nice but i’m still in holiday mood.
Tmr will be tourism and travel practices, well another first lesson of the module. Let’s take it slow!
Current mood: worried

Late greetings!
Was Mid Autumn Festival yesterday, I had a great mooncake feast with mommy and daddy!
Today will be the end of my one month break. As the new semester starts tomorrow, I need to get use to the ‘waking up early days’. Actually I’ve the least say in complaining to wake up early since my place to sch is a short 10 mins walk. Unlike most of my friends who usually take at least an hour to travel.. Heee!
Nonetheless, its still a dread to wake up early when i’m already used to the 11am timing.
On a brighter side, my schooling week will start of beautifully on Tues and end swiftly on Wednesday.
How nice right? A two day week. so i’ve got 5 days to shake my leg at home! er.. not exactly shaking leg but more space for part time jobs and final year project.
You see, school is starting in two days time for me and i’ve yet to check my GPA and classes due to the expiry of password. I’m a lazy person, so much so that i didn’t want to head down the campus to change my password.
Well, since two more days, so why not just wait till that day, its not gonna make much differences. The lucky thing is, Sam has checked the classes and informed me about us being in the same class for the to modules. Yes, that’s it, save the trouble.
Anyhow, just another 15 weeks to end of Poly life i need to work things out and really know what to do in the future. Sometimes i’m just too envious of my friends who already have plans to go overseas’ University or even manage to get themself a position in a company or continue working in previous intern company.
I always tell myself things will turn out just right as time goes by.. but i know if i don’t plan now, i will nv get a clue later. So i’ve been thinking real hard during this sem break and got very worried on what i want to do.
Of course if everything goes well, i would want to further my studies at local University. Otherwise to go out and work for a year sounds good too. Ok, which ever it is i will figure it out as days pass by this semester.

Did you feel it too?
Just an hour ago, there was a shake. I was taking a late afternoon nap due to a severe headache I’ve got on and off since yesterday. Not yet fully recovered though, and i got shook up by that earthquake. The body is moving with the bed and the bed is moving with the ground which adds on to the headache.
Actually since yesterday there has already been light shaking but i thought i was merely sick and thinking too much. Hmmm probably that’s how i get my headache from the giddiness. haha!
Not the first time happening as my place always get the after shakes whenever there is an earthquake happening in our neighboring countries. I remembered vividly on one of the encounters last year. I was out with my girlfriends while my mum rang me up. She was so excited over the phone over the felt of the quakes at home and was amazed by a huge shake that goes on for nearly 20 mins. Guess what? Both my parents and brother is already gathering under the block to see whether the shake continues, somewhat waiting to run!
I literally ‘LOL’ when i heard that over the phone. Sometimes my family is just so cute over such stuff. Well, she just claimed that the shake is too long and scary so everyone ran downstairs. You know my mum usually is the exaggerating one.
So much of disasters recently which we can’t stop it from happening totally. I always feel so lucky in Singapore that is free from disasters. Can’t imagine out of the number of busy days we’ve got, half the time we have to be prepared when there is a volcano eruption/ quakes/ floods. Life will be 10 times busier then. ok, maybe its an overstatement. At least we feel safe wherever we go. Talking of this, my family just strike off the thoughts of migrating overseas. My mum always want to go out of Singapore just like me, to stay and experience the different lifestyle and as we grow older each year we like life to be as simple as possible. But when speaking of how safe it is, everything just got invalid. haha!
I’ve side tracked a lil.
Anyways, I sincerely hope that the affected countries and the families to get recovery as soon as they get help from the neighboring countries.
It’s my free day today, free from tuition/ which ever work due the headache I’ve got. So i need more rest instead i’ve been talking so much here haha!
yes, if you hadn’t already get bored of my ranting, i will update more after my FYP competition in two days time.
well, not a free day totally afterall. I’m off to prepare for the competition!
Good day.
